One of the nice deliveries in december was for a large vessel in need of new anchor & chain
A total of 11 lenghts of 78 mm stud link anchor chain and a 7425 kgs AC-14 anchor were pre-connected,
and loaded on board a barge prior to installation. Anchor was installed to a bulk carrier at the anchorage off Rotterdam.
All delivered and installed in express time, before they set their course for New Orleans, U.S.A.
Many of our clients choose to purchase anchor & chain “key ready” (Ready installed on vessel).
Not only can it be quicker, but also more economical to change it before going to drydock.
