In 2024, we took a significant step towards the future by acquiring a larger area at Skaganeset to expand our operations. The site has now been fully paved, and we are in the process of strategically planning the layout for our new large base.
This relocation means that all our warehouse deliveries from Norway will now be handled from Skaganeset Base. While we have had a presence in Skaganeset for decades, we have now consolidated our entire warehouse operation from Vindenes to Skaganeset to strengthen our logistics and efficiency.
Our warehouses in the Netherlands and China will continue to operate as usual, ensuring the strength and reliability of our global supply chain.
In addition to our expanded warehouse, we now have two deep-water quays that enable us to receive multiple vessels for both loading and unloading operations. These facilities also allow us to provide essential services for vessels, anchoring systems, and wire maintenance, further strengthening our capabilities in maritime logistics and support.
General Manager Åge Vindenes is excited about the unification of warehouse locations and believes that this move will lead to a increase in efficiency, benefiting both our customers and employees.
