After the upgrade of the Panama Canal, the requirements for deck equipment have changed. Ships that do not navigate under their own power must upgrade their chocks and bollards before they can enter the canal. We encourage our clients to check their new builds and existing ships against OP-Notice to Shipping N-1-2017 to avoid operational interruptions and unnecessary delays while necessary upgrades are carried out.
